FAQ

You have the questions, we have the
answers!

How much time does it take to set up and break down a bar?

It typically takes a minimum of one and a half hours to get the bar set up efficiently and drinks iced down. This is, however, dependent upon the event. Having multiple bars or managing glassware for a large event will require more time to set up. Breakdown typically takes 30 minutes to an hour.

How long does it take for the bartenders to set up?

Each event’s needs are different, however, bartenders need a minimum of one and a half hours to efficiently set up and get drinks iced down. This time can increase if glassware is being provided or there are multiple bar set ups. You can expect breakdown to last 30 minutes to an hour.

Can you create a shopping list for me?

Yes we can! We have an ala carte service for this exact need, you can find more information on that here. (link to package page)

Are there any miscellaneous fees I should be aware of?

Based upon your event, additional fees may include,

  • Bartender travel

  • Coordination fee based upon our team's time spent planning, preparing and cleaning of our equipment.

How many bartenders will I need?

The industry standard is 1 bartender for roughly every 75 guests.

How far in advance do I need to book your services?

We always recommend booking once your event date has been locked in but at least 2 weeks advance notice is preferred.

Do you charge gratuity on your invoice?

Clients have a few different options when it comes to tipping our bartenders. Clients can add gratuity to their invoice or choose to either tip the bartenders directly, or allow us to display an appropriate tip jar so that guests can tip the bartender, if they please. We kindly ask that clients notify us in advance if he or she prefers to tip directly, for our records and the bartender’s information. Gratuity amount is always left up to the client’s discretion, but a gratuity of $1.50 per guest or 10-40% of the total bill is standard, if the client is happy with the service received.
